Returns & Refund Policy

Your rights, our process, and how to lodge a return.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

2. Change of mind (30 days)

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the following:

  • Item must be unused, uninstalled and in its original, undamaged packaging with all accessories.
  • You cover the return freight; we recommend using a tracked, insured service.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the item.
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for oversized items (DC chargers, battery cabinets, large inverters).

3. Faulty or damaged on arrival

Please email hello@esqenergy.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos and a short description. We will arrange a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you.

4. Warranty claims

Hardware is covered by the OEM warranty period stated on the product page (typically 3–10 years). To lodge a warranty claim, contact hello@esqenergy.com.au with your order number, product serial number and a description of the fault. Where an installer is required, ESQ can coordinate service through our national installer network.

5. Non-returnable items

  • Custom-configured or made-to-order equipment.
  • Items that have been installed, energised or altered on site.
  • Cabling cut to length.

6. How to start a return

Email hello@esqenergy.com.au with your order number and reason for return. We will issue a Return Authorisation Number (RA#) and the return address. Please do not ship goods back without an RA#.
